Dear Family,
The 2023-2024 school is coming to an end. Where did the year go?! Students in 9th-11th grade are taking final exams and seniors will graduate on Thursday evening. It’s been an exciting year of learning, challenges, successes, new experiences, friendships, and growing in the LCHS community. I am so grateful to be part of a community of parents, teachers and staff members that care so much about providing our students with a quality education and a safe, supportive, and welcoming school to learn in.
I hope that this last week goes well for everyone and that students feel successful as they finish their classes and take final exams, and that everyone enjoys the end of the year festivities. It is always bittersweet (and there will be tears, of course!) to say goodbye to our friends for summer break or to our seniors as they move on from LCHS. I wish them all a heartfelt Congratulations and best of luck in their next chapter!
As we finish this school year, we will also say goodbye to our wonderful Principal, Mr. Cartnal. He has been a valuable leader and supporter of our students through the years at LCHS and he will truly be missed on campus. We wish him well in his new position in LCUSD.
You can find the Finals Schedule here.
Enjoy your summer break! I look forward to seeing you when school starts on August 14th!
With warmest regards,
Christine Chant
LCHS PTSA President
